thanks you again. Yes I feel more confident and I will be going with a tuned 98", ported heads and cams.
I'm looking over some numbers again and it looks like I may need to get different cams for my bike/riding style and setup.
I picked up some Woods TW-555 Knight prowler Cams from another member. but after doing more research, looks like these cams may deliver torque later than I want.
I don't really Tour on this bike and its not often that I do 2 up riding.
I mainly just ride around town, hauling through traffic then cruising. I want that extra torque boost to get away from cars and power through like a mad man when needed.
Do you think these cams (TW-555) are not what I need? and can you recommend a cam that may be closer to delivering torque where I want it?
looks like I may have wanted something closer to Andrews 26H cam. someone mentioned 57h could that also be a desired option for my riding style?
thanks again.

I am dedicated to the Woods cams but if Scott recommends the 57H then there really shouldn't be a question. I truly am dedicated to scot as a builder there are some better out there but not many.... He can definitely put together a package that will really ope your eyes.... Especially coming from an 88"er.... The 57 will hit lower than the 555 but the 555 will carry out a little more....

I have just done one. First start at the end of the week with some luck.
I was a bit further ahead though, my 88 was a 95 I had heads and throttle body, cam etc. but the crank had slipped so it's now 103 with a new crank.i did like me the 95, so looking forward to this 103.
My cam is an Andrews, but someone forgot to note down which one.... It's either 37h or 57h it seemed to go well with a great idle sound.
Can someone tell me in the cam picture above. Where it says timing, is that the recommended setting.
And how is that set, through a power commander? I have pc3. But may upgrade if I get no joy.
Thanks

As far as the 57 goes the sweet spot starts higher up in the RPMs like 2200 until 5600. The 26 comes on sooner around 1800 and starts to fade about 5200 rpms. You also have to look at the lift. The 57 is a .560 lift while the 26 is a .490 lift which is a little more lift than stock.
