Default Oil pressure sensor - switch

Hello all. I have a 2012 Electraglide Police. I am doing major electrical changes that the bike did not come with. I purchased the 6 gauge package. I found online OEM part numbers manuals and wiring diagrams.

Can an I uninstall the pressure switch and install the sensor in its place?
If so, how will the indicator light now work?
Do I have to install both?

i can follow the wiring. It’s an awesome manual but I am not educated in the sensor area
thank you in advance

Wendon the light will work the same the light will be till you build 3psi and the light will go out and the gage starts to move up . normal press is around 30 at 2500 rpm and 6-8 psi at hot idle.
