As in,,,,,the bike runs fine for the first mile or so because it is not up to temp and running on warm up enrichment,,once the enrichment begins to decay and the bike leans out it runs like crap,,,no noises just poor perfromance. Its not a good combo of ac and pipe to start with so it most likely needs more attention to the tune. I just wanted to confirm the mechanicals first because as we all no, no tuning attemps can fix a mechanical issue.

Many thanks guys for your advices. I will keep the thread updated.
If the bike sits for about one day, the quantity of oil in the tank decrease with about 0.5 - 1.0 quart. It is not too much ?

The oil is most likely ending up in the sump, getting through the pump from gravity. Do NOT addd oil just yet. Start the bike and warm it up, then recheck oil level before you add more. This is common on softails.

Checkings are ongoing, my friend will change some of the upgraded components.

But we have two questions please :
1. if you would have to choose between Andrews TW21 and TW26 camshafts, which one would be the winner ? for a heavy biker. (Bike is HD Softail Heritage TC88B).
2. can we replace the chain cam shaft with gear cam shaft ? we have measured and the cranckshaft has a radial movement of 0,07 mm (about 0.002755897 inch).

Thank you

The 21 is a good down low cam especially on a heavier bike as for Gear Drive I wouldn't bother stick with your chains put in new tensioners and you're good to go...

Hello again, first many thanks for the great support I had here from you. I have posted on a different section, but not many replies, so I come back here.

HD Heritage Softail Classic, Twin Cam 88, 2001, 15.000 miles, with the following mods :
 Kuryakyn hypercharger,
 Dual Vance & Hines exhausts with buffles,
 Cam Plate S&S,
 Oil Pump S&S (with 3 rotors),
 Lifters S&S Premium,
 Push Rod Fuel Moto with 32 threads/inch,
 Camshaft TW 21 Andrews heavy biker,
 Tuner Twin-Tec (please see foto).

With the Tuner set on Stage 2 Mods, the engine is not running round, so we have changed the settings to "Stage 3" (what is wrote by hand on the right column). With these settings, the engine is running better, but still has some hesitations at about 1800 - 2000.

Which is the best tunner for this model bike ? I would think to an autotune one ...
