Default Twin cam top end tick

Hey guys,
my 05 roadking classic has been making a loud tick since day one. I've done some research and came across these things called Rocker Lockers. http://rockerlockers.com/
Any body using them? Do they work?

They do work in cases where the rocker shaft is in contact with the rocker support plate bolt.
Sure the noise is not a lifter(s)?
Scott

The noise is all up top. I'll let you know if the noise disappears. Thanks for the reply.

Rockouts work very well. Best $15 mod available.

Didn't make any difference for me but for the price you can't go wrong

Mine ticked like crazy when I first got it. Thought about those little things. I changed exhaust and had it properly tuned on the dyno, which previous owner did not and the tick is gone.

Does your bike have any mods? Although this is one of the biggest complaints about the TC is that they are noisy.

My 15 has a top end tic between 2000 and 2500rpm. I tried the lock outs and didn't help at all. I'm not bashing them and there product does work, just not for me. Could possibly be from doing a cam change

Finished up the rocker locker install yesterday and the tick is still there. It comes and goes somewhere around 1500-2500 RPM range. Oh well back to the drawing board.

Hey Scott thanks for the reply.
The lockers didn't work for me. I checked the side to side play also and found .014 max. so I'm going to ride since it's beautiful out.
I'll be back on the hunt for the noise when the weather gets cold.
