Bike sounds like it might die when stopping
My 02 road king Classic FLHRCI sounds like it’s going to die when I come to a stop. Just wondering if there might be an easy way to get it to where it doesn’t sound like it is going to die? |

Is it just idle speed?

Mine did that and it was actually a bad tank of fuel..Don't just spray throttle body or carb cleaner in the throttle body whilley really.
Clean around butterfly with Qtip and cotton cloth wet with spray like prodrag says. (that area when shut is about 3/4 of your idle air. The rest is the IAC valve. Just make sure is jumps in and out with key off and on. You can clean tip. However spraying it hard will wash black crud up past o ring in motor and weeks later when it dries up, the IAC will totally jam up. |

Make that part of your maintenance...and I use brake cleaner cause it evaporates.
