That's what I reckon! Pretty serious bit of kit....

That's good enough for me, they should know! I'm happy with the S&S 107" in my Glide. Having checked their website they have no stock at present, also it is listed as for '86-'03 bikes, which suggests to me it is only suitable for the tube-framed Buells. I really fancied them, but just couldn't bring myself to buy one, however have had two of the alloy-framed models, XB9R and XB12R Firebolts - they are great!

After a little more research this seems to be a much cheaper and easier option. I watched a ton of videos on youtube. That 1125 is bad ***

It’s a 9000 dollar engine without a primary and transmission. Most of the S&S cases in xl’s are used for racing and big money Xl Hot rodding. Get the Buell and build a bad fast 1250/1275 88” or 90”. Because a well built and tuned 1250/1275 will smoke that 100” in stock form.

haha for real? The tube frame Buell engines are almost identical to 91-03 xl’s. Parts galore on eBay and fxxkbook!!!!!

Even the buell xb heads can be retrofitted on 91-03 xl’s. It’s the same head minus a few minor details as the 04 up rubberduck 1200s. Smh

Your lack of knowledge and experience becomes all the more evident with every post you put up. Have you ever owned or ridden a Buell of any year or model?
this was a post in search of opinions, if you don't like mine, thats cool, but at least mine is based on experience and fact. I have ridden and worked on Buells since they were born, and ridden against them on the race track also. I have also owned sportsters since 1996, the current fast one being 105 hp and 104tq. I built them, not someone else or someone that I PAID to build it.
while the engine parts can be gotten, everytnig else is very hard to get now, thats just a fact. I have people with buells coming onto my shop all the time and whilemi help them the bes that I can, it is stillnhard to find stuff form them.

Owned and ridden. Funny my 92 xl has a 95 Buell case with 2010 xb flywheels and rods and a Magnesium Buell xb rear wheel . Sorry, but Buell parts are everywhere. I don’t really give two turds about your wanna be Credentials. 105 hp is cute though. I’ve never road raced any bike, but I’ll put up my street legal foot shifted no bar Xl against you anytime. Again 105 hp lol
