Curious, how much will this kit cost including install and tuning?

I haven’t gotten firm numbers on the kit, was only told in casual conversation that it would be less then 1900 including tax. Install will be 880 less 15% winter discount, so about 750 labor. Add a few bucks for the various odds and ends necessary for the install. I’m going to start with a Power Vision tune from FuelMoto, and use auto tune pro (the pipe I’m getting has 12 and 18mm bungs) since there’s a serious shortage of Dyno tuners in the area. Once it’s pretty dialed in, I may use Rosa’s on Long Island for a fine tune.

All in, about 2700 for the kit and install. Another grand for the pipe and PV.

Thats my plan anyway.

I'm sure it'll be... justed wanted to know if the 7 cubes is worth 3k+... Although Andrew and I have issues I still believe he is a very good tuner .. but I've heard his prices are getting up there... You shouldn't have to pay more than $400 for a tune.... Might want to look at CPM in Coram....

Well, I look at it this way. The 110 SE motor in my old low rider S was fantastic. This kit will give me essentially the same motor, so I’d be happy with it. I’m considering maybe using a different cam then the SE255 that comes with the kit, like an Andrews or Woods. Looking into that a bit as well.

Regarding Rosa’s. My only problem is I gotta leave the bike there a few days, and it’s a pita getting there and back home by public transportation. Not a huge deal, just not convenient.

No sure how close these are to you but both are great tuners and builders.

I know where Moroneys is. I had no idea they had a Dyno nor a good operator. With all this EPA hoopla, warranty voiding if you tune your bike, etc. I’m surprised HD allows dealers to non-compliant tune anything anymore. I’ll give him a call tomorrow. I’ll be sure to mention you recommended him.

Thanks.

I haven’t done this yet, prettty close though. Was looking, and saw this kit that uses the stock heads instead of the SE ported heads, but ups the compression to 10.2:1 which means I could get some Woods or Andrews cams, vs. the SE 585s that come with it. https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...ck-highlighted

Going this kit with cams will end up costing pretty much the same as the full stage 4 kit, so I’m waffling a bit between the two.

I’ll be using fueling lifters on either kit, and the SE cam plate and high volume oil pump.

So, full stage 4, or stage 3 with better cams is where I’m at now.

I did get the FuelMoto E-series 2:1 pipe, a Ventilator AC, and a power vision with an auto tune pro kit last week, so that’s ready for what’s next...

I did the Same kit but added a .30 gasket for 10.5:1 and used the SE585 with great results. Reaches 115 TQ at 2,000 RPM’s and 124 peak TQ.

This kit? Nothing else but the gaskets? Nice numbers!
