Default Stage 1 Breakout. 30t 70t pulley. Tw 222 or tw 555?

50 50 2 up riding. Love torque. 14 103 Breakout. V&H Big Radius with Heavy Breather. Power Vision. Can't decide between the Woods 222 or 555. If I had stock gearing I would go with 222, but since my ratio will be 13% lower, my torque should come in sooner and to me it would seem that the 555 may be better ...btw, I've read post after post on cams etc. Just nothing found with my scenario. Thx

Cyclerama 575 would out torque them all

Default Keep in mind stock compression

From what I've read and heard the se585 work well with higher compression. Not sure on the Andrew's 57. I'm really curious your thoughts on whether or not I'm thinking correctly about the 13% increase in torque and being able to take advantage of the higher rpm torque of the 555 over the 222? Fuel Moto has a bunch of dyno pulls on these two cams with my set up.

Default Here's a good comment on this from another thread.

He mentioned with gearing, the 555 would be best...

The 41* IVC on the 555's will bleed off more compression. If you're not raising your compression it's better to have an earlier intake valve close event.

Without looking at the charts would the 222 fit my situation better taking into consideration my 30 70 pulley swap? Does the pulley swap have an impact on my choice between these 2 cams? Thx

I had the 30T and 37's. When I advanced my 37's +4* it ran out of steam real quick. It took off like a rocket. It just didn't like the higher R's.
The SE585 would work well.
