Default 103 best sound in a cam swap

Hey guys... I have a 2014 Street Glide and am winter tinkering. I am considering a cam swap to improve mainly the sound of the exhaust. I already have a hot rod Dyna for fun but just looking to spice the Street Glide up a bit. I know I won't get much gain in power from a cam swap on this bike. It only has air cleaner and full exhaust upgrade. What cam would you guys choose to give the bike better idle sound and maybe a little more power? I really don't want to lose much bagger power as it's well... a slow bagger. Thanks in advance!

You should ask your local builder about the Woods TW-5-6.

A rough idle cam, does not equate to power, but as Bob suggested, a Wood 5-6 might be your cam.

I was talking to my builder says best cam for this motor is Andrews 48H had this cam in my 96ci and it was chunky sounded great. Dyno tuned you can easily get 100+ HP.

I think it a bit silly to cam a bike just to change the idle sound but it is hard to beat the SE204 for a lumpy idle. Change the inner cam bearings at the same time cams are changed.

Totally agree—silly!
May not perform great but the idle sound will be there with the 204.

If you want it to sound badass, build it badass!

May not perform great but in a 130" motor; midrange an top end won't be to shabby. The SE204 is a very underrated cam IMHO. Sure, there a more "badass" cams but doesn't sound like that is what the OP is looking for. Add a set of 1.7 ratio rockers with the 204 and you might be surprised.

I have always thought the s&s 570 sounded good. Should run decent too.
