Hello..
I hope I picked the right area to post this in.
I have stripped the hole for the #10 bolt on the primary cover.
I have a 04 ultra with the tc88 engine.
I see posts about the heli coil, but can't seem to find the proper size I would need, or do I just walk into a place that sells them with the bolt?
is the heli coil the easiest route, I need the bike up and running fast..
any help is much appreciated.

A well equipped hardware store should have them.
If you know your way around a drill and a tap, heli-coils are the fastest easiest way. If not, they're the fastest way to a new inner primary.

 

Take one of the bolts with you, im thinking its 1/4" 20 on my bikes. They probably sell a kit with the proper drill bit, insert and install tool.

 

So true, time-serts are really good to, a better helicoil if you will.

 

Buy the 1/4x20 helicoil kit on eBay. You get a few inserts, special drill bit, the tap, and a driver for the inserts.

 

You can drill for 1/8-27 NPT plug also.
