check engine light on

Default check engine light on
so have 2017 Sportster 48 with 1200 miles. I just changed gas tank and put on new apes. check engine light just came on after I filled it with gas. I drove it a few times after the new tank and apes/extension kit but don't think the light was on. how can/should I troubleshoot this? thanks a lot

Did you check f/ codes? What's showing?

Kinda like a "stab in the dark" w/o knowing the general area...
