Default Hylift Johnson Lifter?
I ordered the 2313SEL.... sent me Sent me 842SEL ...are they the same?

Waiting on a response from Larry

They are probably the anti leak down, might of got a upgrade.

Just scares me when the part number is not listed anywhere...,,, .842 seems to indicate the diameter in thousandths.

The 842SEL shares the same body as the 2313SEL. The internals are different for more oil to the top end otherwise it's the same lifter.

Installed the 824SEL this weekend, but they are not bleeding down after 12 hours,..... I pumped them up before install to get the air bubbles out,,,, did I do it wrong?

You probably didn't prime them right and you are way past 0 lash.

Zero lash is the issue... They were primed correctly, apparently the stock pushrods are bottomed out against the lifter limiters,,,,, pretty frustrating because I didn't order lifters with limiters,

So I just ordered the S&S Quickie pushrods and should be able to adjust them correctly.... but next I might pull the limiters out, my engine is stock so I dont need the limiters

OK,,,, today I pulled the Hylift lifters,,, and removed the limiters, re-installed with the S&S Quickee pushrods, and ,,, all is well.... 4 turns of lash per S&S instructions

Took @ 10+ minutes for the lifters to pump up and then the rockers quieted down.... I also added the rocker bushings that limits the rotation of the pinion shaft.

All good so far, going on a long ride tomorrow

You ordered one model of lifter, were sent a different model and told they were basically the same. It turns out they weren't. That doesn't seem proper or fair. At the very least, the vendor should have gotten your approval before the product switch.
