Twin cam 107 big bore and want more
I winter here and I have a 107 big bore from a 103:stock. My 107 dynos at 130 tq. I’m looking for 145 to 150 tq build.. have 888 cams and compression is at 10,6. Build was done by hillside in 2014.
can I go 117 or 124:with stock case . ? . Or course I will need to spilt case to verify Crank runout before . any suggestions what I should do to get those numbers... I’m from Canada so exchange rate is a factor too... |
You don’t have to split cases to check run out. And there’s a SH*T ton of work on both ends needed to get where u want to go. Too much info you’re needing. Call your engine builder for these kinds of details

Hell you have a 107 putting down 130tq...should get the numbers you want with a 110 lol...call Scott back ,he'll take care of you.

If what you have now is underwhelming, don't half step; open your wallet and go BIG. Spare no expense and start from the very bottom up. Or, be prepared to be in the same position again, soon after your temporary satisfaction. The most expensive power train upgrade is the one you have to do twice.

Yup, Call Scott.

go 124",
|
Expect to spend big money on stock heads, or upgrade to 110 heads with work. 124" stroker crank, 662-2 or 9F, boarzilla exhaust, and find a happy dyno....

Change the gear ratio and put that 130TQ in a sweet spot.
