stock piston weights

Hi anyone know the weights of the stock 96 and 103 pistons with rings and pins?
Thanks
Ron

i think you would be better served if you buy the pistons you want, besides, you fit to the piston, not the other way around.
second, even stock pistons can vary, so that leaves finding some with in tolerance of each other.
third, some pistons can be matched with a little machine work, BUT, chose your brand well and talk to the mfg.

The pistons, rings, pins, and clips are typically set to 1035 for all parts in later twincams. A good source for this number is the SnS catalog as they sell replacement cranks that are pre balanced to this number. From what I've seen the aftermarket matches the numbers pretty well +- 50 grams but generally closer. The early 4 inch stroke TC motors were set to about 1200..

I know this was repeated over in another discussion but its worth mentioning again.
