Does valve job increase combustion chamber volume on twin cam 96" heads?

Hey folks,

I've had my heads cc'd to exactly where I need them for my build, now I've decided to have a proper serdi valve job done - how much will this increase combustion chamber volume? 0.5cc ? 1cc?

Thanks for any advice.

When you say "done properly ".... what does that mean exactly? Thanks again. :)

he means that you should send them to a highly qualified pro like himself and not let you're drunk uncle Louie do it on his kitchen table with a grinder and a broken pair vice grips lol.

Lets say that it takes about 0.005" on the valve and seat on the intake valve (1.8") and say 0.010 on the same for the exhaust valve (1.57). Exhausts can be rougher. This will increase the chamber size by about 3/4 cc. The guides are changed, it could be more.
