Hope everyone is well. I'm back buttoning the top end front rocker box and saw this "coating" peeling on the top of the exhaust valve. I checked the other 3 and all are fine. Any ideas what this is before I put stuff back together?
The second photo I began to peel it and then stopped to take these photos.
It looks like the valve seal condom.. Shouldn't be there..
Ok thanks Max. Now I'm guessing I should remove the head and address that valve yes? Was just gonna contact Larry and see what he says but I haven't yet. Thoughts?

I'll be interested in what he says.. I could easily be wrong... If it is a seal condom valve retainer needs be removed.. Can be done on the bike with special tools...

I don't have a tool to do it on the bike but do have the valve spring compression tool. Here we go.
Question before I get busy, you guys think that could have been affecting the front cylinder from not running?
