Ok so I have an 03 Electra glide. I just put a SE 585 cam, SE cam plate kit with the Se high flow oil pump in. Unfortunately one of the adjustable push rods was bent so waiting on new. I currently have an unknown brand in and don’t know how to set them. They look like a combo SE and S&S which both take different settings. Can anyone help identify so I can get back to riding.
Be patient; wait for the new pushrods, adjust accordingly and get back to riding. Getting in a hurry in a situation like this can lead to bad juju.
+1 on how the pushrod got bent? Was it bent when you took them out as part of the rebuild of the cam chest? A bent push rod is an indicator of possible P to v contact and should be investigated.

the push rod that was bent was the new one. It came in the package that way. I’m unsure if it was damaged in shipping or what but was visibly bowed. They have sent a new set of rods but it was a two week wait.
You want 0.100 into lifter. Take your dial caliper and set it at 1".
Now like said above, count number of threads. Say it's 18 or could be 24.
But whatever divide that number into 1. That's the pitch or how far the rod will get longer. Divide that into 0.100 will give you the turns from no play .
You will be in center of hydraulic range.
Cylinder will never outgrown that. Valve springs can override it to just no play or what is called zero valve lash.
Lifters actually collapse a tad during lift. (Leak down) All lifters leak down, but have leak down check tolerances.
They pump up once down as the run around base circle.
OEM cams have a degree or so lead ramp before big lift.
That lead allows if say lifter is down .007 or .010, there still quite.
Performance cams use all they can and usually don't have that quite lead.
