I’m highly considering getting a reverse gear installed on my 21 Ultra Limited.
Has anyone installed a reverse gear on your ride and any issues?
It seems Champion and Baker manufactures a good product.
I’m 68 years old and at times backing up my Ultra on a slight incline can be a bitch.
I appreciate anyone’s input.
Thanks

Never park your bike where you have to back up an incline. Doesn’t even work with the Triglide electric reverse. Of cause the mechanical ones are much better.
I have a Reverse on my 2020 and had it on my 2017. I used the Moto trike one.
They work. Be warned backing up a two wheeled bike under power can go south in a heart beat.
I have it for my sidecar but I do take the sidecar off and have played with the reverse.
Not saying it can't be done. just two wheels going backwards becomes a rear wheel steering .

Unfortunately, sometimes it cant be helped when it comes to inclines.
I have a Motor Trike reverse installed and it is wonderful.
I would definitely get a reverse gear model that has an electrical shutoff in case the bike is in first gear and reverse at the same time. That would be disastrous.
