I was replacing the throttle cable today and when reinstalling the throttle tube I bottomed it out. When I turned the bike on it started revving and I may have cooked the motor. I attached a video of the bike running for just a moment. The noise seems to be coming from the front cyl. The front header is hot while the rear header is still cold. What do you guys think the noise is?

That's an old Ironhead (1957 to 1971 900cc and 1972 to 1985 1000cc) Sportster. Can't tell the exact year from that very short video. Judging from the looks of the top end, tear it down and inspect for damage and go from there. I've got a 1977, 5200 miles on my complete rebuild/restore.
