I'm adding ACR's on an 2011 FLHTC. I have the harness 70623-08. I was able to install the ground wire to the ECM connector at pin #19 per the instructions. Not a problem. Connecting power wires at the fuse block is a different story. I was able to remove the fuse block from the caddy and remove secondary lock but could not seem to get the terminal wire from the fuse block. Was afraid I was about break something. So I just reassembled the fuse block and caddy.
My question is, it looks to me that the ACR's just need switched +12v power at one side at ACR and ground is controlled through the ECM at pin #19.
So would it be possible to power ACR's with an "add a fuse" plug in and just cconnect wire from that to harness. That way I don't have to reconfigure the fuse block. Ground wire remains at ECM connector. Add a fuse will plug in the ignition fuse slot
Well, gave it another try. Finally figured out how the terminals locked and unlocked. A little tiny flat screw driver. Now wired per the harness instructions.
A few YouTube videos had sent me down the wrong path with the terminals and tools required.
