Thanks for your post and the links, BlackBastard. Although HDF crossed out the domain name of one of the links due to it being a competing forum, I was able to find it.

You took the initiative and posted a wealth of information on all the technical information related to cams to help people understand more about them, and you gave due credit for each source you obtained your information from and did not claim credit. Kudos to you!!

I'm having fun going through all of that info. Thanks a bunch!

Would anyone have a perspective on a tc88 with 97 ci jugs, 10:1 pistons, flowed heads and S&S gear drive cams in a softail? I'm just wondering if that cam is a good match for the other parts

is this the right place to ask about the cams in my TCb Fatty, theyre getting pretty noisy, which is a bit worrying being where i am.
If i use an additive next time i change the oil will it quieten them down a bit
this is the one I've been told is ok

I would recommend you talk to the manufacturer of everglide before using it
I my self am curious about trying it, though I'm happy using my AMSoil synthetics
what oil are you using in the tranny at the moment anyway?

I dropped an email to the tech guys at Everglide about it, but i'd already put it in dohh.

Any 80/90 in the tranny's gonna get you better results than using a 20/50 weight regardless

Great post! Thanks for the info. For us simple-minded folks, can you explain why the EPA can void the HD warranty on 2017 M8 models if we upgrade the CAM to after market instead of using the recommended SE CAM upgrades? I have a Stage 1 M8 Road Glide Special and would consider Stage 2 but when I went from Stage 1 to Stage 2 on my 2016 Road Glide Special the Torque and HP numbers did not move very much for the $ spent. I had V&H true duals and mufflers at the time. Thanks!
