So I ran out of gas about a week ago and put old gas in, bike was acting very weird so I put fuel injector cleaner and ran through a couple more fill ups with good 93. Now I noticed that the bike is running a little better but sometimes backfires and when I rev the engine the rpms drop to about 700 and the bike feels like it wants to die. Anyone know what it could be or what to check/fix? or should I bring it to a mechanic?

 

Check the fuel filter, you didn't say how many miles are on it. Get some throttle body cleaner and clean the IAC, there are videos that will show you how.
Is the air filter clogged?

 

it only has 3500 miles on it, I was thinking about cleaning the iac but not sure how to check the fuel filter or at least what to be looking for
