motor is is apart for upgrade 88 to 95 se cast ft pistons, minor work on heads valve job, seals, possible mill for compression. motor is 2006 i have camplate and oil pump from 2010 so cam choice andrews 26 or 48 or other for use with newer camplate .low compression build so choices for this only.

Don't think S&S does conversion cams. They are needed with the 2010 cam plate.

You are right about the conversion cams; none from S&S. I am an Andrews and TMan guy and just recently started looking at S&S cams for 98" build in the works and not as familiar with their offerings; my bad. However if truckinpete happens to be riding a Dyna, no worries. Oooops, wrong again, no 509s for later models but he could run the 551s or 583s if bike is a Dyna. If not a Dyna the OP is back to the Andrews 26 or 48 both of which are available as a conversion cam. In which case, the 48 would be my pick.

Andrews 48 over the 26 every time. You didn't say what year; if prior to '05, valve lift will be an issue unless addressed with head work.
