Default Stage 3 Big Bore 103" kit for my 96" TwinCam FatBoy 2011

Ordered the kit and hi-flow oil pump and cam bracket, etc. Very curious how your experience has been jumping from 96" to 103" and the 259E cam on a FatBoy used mostly in the 2k to 4k rpm range, solo rider. I'm about 275lbs. as dressed in boots, jacket, helmet.

Anything special to tell them on the ScreaminEagle RaceTuner re-flash? Do you think needs a Dyno run or the re-flash for Stage 3 from HD Tuner o.k.?

Thanks

It will need tuned by a professional, which is NOT your dealer. All of the HD flashes have to be EPA compliant anymore. So, with that kit and cams, there will be no EPA tune available for you.

How far are you from Pocono, PA HD? AT Pocono HD is one of the best tuners around, JD.

I could make it down there. How is Danbury CT H-D reputation for Dyno?

So, how much more power would I get from a Dyno tune on a 103 kit than from the EPA compliant HD download? I've done ALOT of readingon dyno tuning, but thought I'd get pretty close with the SE Race Tuner, esp. as already own it fro. Stage 1 install and V&H pipes. Thanks.

Since ya all ready ordered the stuff I guess you'll find out. SE cams and heads are not high on my list of good stuff. A proper tune will help, a lot! Good luck!

Stage 3 kit I ordered is same as Stage 2, except a 259-E cam, as I understand. Also doing the high-flow oil pump and cam support billet bracket and some miscall. upgrades like hydraulic tensioner. Keeping this bike till 100k miles, I hope. And then my son till 200k, I hope. And then his.... ..... :-)

Ride safe. Thanks for comments.
