Fantastic! Plenty of power throughout the rev range. Surprising amount of power at 2000 rpm. Sounds and feels "crisp". Starts very quickly. Rideable immediately upon starting. Cold idle is maybe 1200 to 1300 briefly upon first startup. Uses no oil.

Last week, Mike installed the Jagg 10-pass oil cooler for me. As a result, the oil temperature, per my LCD dipstick, is greatly reduced (after today's 99 mile ride, it was 206).

Fuel mileage is never below 42.5, and averages an honest 44.5 to 45 mpg on most fill-ups.

I'm happy. :)

hey jim, i'm not too far from those guys, you think it's worth doing a tune on a stock 96 with just a/c, exhaust, and fuelpak? or should i hold off until i get a Power vision or power commander? seems like you had a great experience with your stage 4, good write up, and impressive numbers

Hi,

Thats good jim, a few of my riding mates have the kit in their bike and absolutely love them and put one in my bike just recently ( the 103 jug and piston kit as upgraded from 96)

Enjoy the jacket too

Thanks
Mirrmu

I can say with absolutely no exaggeration, that doing a dyno tune even on a purely stock Harley would have big benefits. And, when you have made any mods at all, even more. Yes. Do it.

Make a reservation asap though. Mike gets REALLY busy.

I actually LOVE that jacket. :) I wore it today for that 99 mile trip.

(Those who haven't read my thread on the Willy G jacket won't know what we are talking about)

Yes, although not nearly as impressive as those guys who had their bikes done on those OTHER, "better" famous dynos that seem to pull power right out of thin air. I got "only" a 60+ percent power increase over stock. :)
