Default Riding in Europe

Hey guys what's up, I am in the planning stages of shipping my bike to europe to ride for a month or two. My question is how can I protect my ride in some of these eastern European countries. I am planning to leave France, go to Italy, Austria,, then keep heading east, going to Odessa, Ukraine, then head north to Keiv, then finally head back west through Poland and Germany, and then end up back in Amsterdam. If anybody has rode alot in some of these countries, I could use some help in protecting my hog.

I have riden all over europe and i have never had any problems. Just make sure if you stay in a hotel, that they have a secured parking lot, lock your bike and dont leave anyting on it. That goes for everywhere in europe, doesnt really matter eastern or western europe.

Thanks Sonny, I will, really looking forward to this getaway. Have you ever been through Ukraine, from what I have been reading the police there are very corrupt and looking for ways to extort money from you, thanks again for your help

I agree with Sonny. Italy and Austria are very biker friendly, and the majority of Europe is great. My friends and I worried a bit when we went to Prague a coupla times, so we got a secure garage. I guess if you go to big, eastern block cities, try to get a garage for peace of mind, otherwise, just park smart.

Good luck and have fun!!
