German TUV inspection
#11
Not trying to contradict, but with Americans and American bikes, they REALLy dont care what kind of turn signals we have. I ride with a group of about 11 guys and NONE of them have OEM, or TUV approved signals. And we have had NO issues over the years here. If you have them, and YES you must to comply with USAREUR regs. (190-4?) you won't be stopped for that reason.

On the exhaust topic, I am going through hoops now trying to pass inspection in the Wiesbaden area. The “law” here is 95db while the engine is running half the redline.
Mine was at 97db at idle and 101db at half redline (2750rpm). So, waiting on some stock pipes to show up and will try again.

0db tolerance (ie MUST be 95db or less) on aftermarket pipes regardless of age, even if they meet the emissions standards.
They wont tell you stuff like that unless you actually ask.
