Default putting 94 bags on a 90

If I move my battery on my 1990 electra glide classic will 1994 bags fit in my slots? Also what years would fit if I moved battery. I'm looking to get rid of the 90 style lids

Here is a link to the post about moving the battery under the seat and mounting the newer bags.

The right lid was damaged yesterday. I'll copy paste my facebook post from yesterday...

THIS GOES OUT TO THE ******* ON ROUTE 5 TODAY!!!!!

First off let me start by saying your a mother ****ing ******* plain and simple I swear to god if I wasn't concerned about the **** in my saddle bag or the lid itself I would have chased you down and beat the living **** out of you!!!!!!

Took the bike for a ride today as I was cruising on rt 5 in brocton I saw a flash looked in my mirror and saw my right saddle bag flying up in the air and landing on the Shoulder of the road right side up thinking ok no major damage I went to turn around and this jack *** coming the opposite way swerved onto the shoulder of the road purposely to run my bad lid over...... you wanna talk about pissed off holy **** I wanted to beat that dude to a inch of his life..... what a ****ing dick head!!!!! He proceeded to hit the gas and hauled *** after he hit my lid..... Do you know how hard it is to find a right bag lid well I'll tell ya it's difficult.....

Twenty bucks worth of fiberglass supplies plus some paint would fix that lid.

It is my understanding (and we need Tup's input) that there is no problem with the rails fitting the new bags.

Rats - that'll be me!

In addition to the link OhioFatboy96 gave, this is my thread on the subject. There is more than one way to skin this cat, as you will see! Do read right through both the links given so far, to get a full measure of what can be involved.

It's a while since I last updated my bag thread, but I'm distracted by other things at present. I do now have brackets to support the fronts of the bags and everything is painted 'new' blue.
