Progressive 412 shocks?

Ditto.
I think of Progressives as the bottom of the range of "better" shocks. You can spend a lot more and get a little better (law of diminishing returns and all that), but for the money, Progressives deliver a lot of bang for the buck. I have them on both the Electra Glide and the FXR and am well pleased.

When people ask such questions, shock length really should be mentioned. And folks offering opinions should also refer to length. For example, I rode a set of 11" 412's that offered spine jarring misery. I also rode a set of 12.5" that weren't bad and I would rate as a fair riding shock. At least in doing so you'd get more accurate feedback.

Do you ride solo, or with Mrs RKD as well? Many aftermarket shocks will give an improved ride solo, but not many work well with the most important passenger in the World aboard. You have access to affordable custom-built Ohlins from an HDF sponsor, which will transform your ride to a different plane, way beyond 'a little better'! Why make do with less?!
