Just got an apologetic call and my cr scan will be at noon today. That means the tire will have to wait for a different day.

Do the right side of the tyres wear out faster in the UK?

Nope they wear out the wrong side of their tires first since they spend all their time on the wrong side of the road!!!!!

In keeping with the British vernacular of this thread, I had a CT scan yesterday and today was told I have an 8 MM stone in the right kidney.

I'm not a doctor so I don't know what causes kidney stones but whatever you're doing to get them I think it is time to stop!!!!!!!!!
