Default New Helmet finally came in

I ordered a new helmet 3 weeks ago off eBay...from China of course. It looks like a simpson but was $84 shipped compared to $500 for a Simpson. Haven't used it on the road yet but it fits well, nice materials, an solid construction. I have a crazy Al's I wear most of the time around town an picked up this one for highway use, an cool mornings an evenings. It's weird I went though a stage where I always wore a helmet, then never wore one for a few years an now I'm back to wearing one. Some at my kids urging an some because my bald head gets burned. anyway these are light, well made IMO an great price. It weighs about the same maybe less than a Hawk 3/4 I have.

Nice looking helmet! I've been wanting a Simpson but the price tag scares my wallet.

Got a link to which helmet you bought on eBay?

I was liking the storm trooper look of it too.

here it is in black http://www.ebay.com/itm/321924033284...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

another style: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRG-ATV-Moto...9Uwsxm&vxp=mtr

white one I got: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRG-Fibergla...tobVYg&vxp=mtr

looks like if you spend 10-20 bucks more you can get it from a US distributor a lot faster than saving the money an buying from China like I did.

Just not sure about strapping my coconut into a knock-off helmet.

Default Same helmet in black

I have this helmet in black. Light, fits well. My only gripe would be wind noise at the vents. Not bad but not quiet either.

Over not wearing one at all? There's not a downside to a "knock-off" in that case.

these seem well made.....a lot of the helmets at dealers an mc supply stores are made in China. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the medium priced ones use the same shell as the Chinese ones an slap their name an tags on it an charge double. I've had Bell, HJC, Hawk an some no named ones an didn't notice much of a difference....I've never had a high end one like Aria or Shoei, I imagine those would be a lot nicer but I'm sure this one will do the job.
