My wife bought me a tool roll at a local motorcycle shop (not HD) made for Harleys. It seems to have about everything you would need on the side of the road, EXCEPT a 9/32 socket. The only time I needed a tool away from home, I needed to remove the solenoid cover for an emergency start. Luckily, I was at Big R, so I went in and found a T wrench with bits and sockets in their $5 cheap tool bin. I put the wrench and socket in my tool roll in case it ever happened again to me or someone else.

I've never bothered carrying tools.

Besides, as well maintained as my bikes are and as flawlessly as they run, what could go wrong?!?!?
