My wife bought me a tool roll at a local motorcycle shop (not HD) made for Harleys. It seems to have about everything you would need on the side of the road, EXCEPT a 9/32 socket. The only time I needed a tool away from home, I needed to remove the solenoid cover for an emergency start. Luckily, I was at Big R, so I went in and found a T wrench with bits and sockets in their $5 cheap tool bin. I put the wrench and socket in my tool roll in case it ever happened again to me or someone else.
I carry a set of combination wrenches, allen wrenches, electrical connectors, wire, crimpers, side cutters, pliers, tire plug kit, fuses, zip ties, adjustable bungee cords, flashlight, belt repair kit, and screwdrivers.
That's all I can remember right now.
Dang, I don't carry anything but a cell phone.....
I think I will put together a kit this weekend.
get the harley 8 in 1 screwdriver ( made by snap on ) not only does it have the phillips and flat blades like the onestht come in the kits , it has a couple torx bits including the important t-27
