Default Ignition mods

I need to replace the hall effect sensor in my nose cone, 98 Road King FLHR, should I keep the sensor and the electronic Ignition and go with a Dyna 2000P or switch it out to a nose cone based Ignition like the S&S Crane Hi 4 or even the Mallory breakerless ignition with a mechanical advance? What have you used, and what has worked best for you?

Also I was going to change out the coil too, I see my choices are numerous, and I am thinking a higher voltage, single fire would be the best bang for the buck?

My Daytona twin tech has been working fine for 15 years if that helps any.

If I had to change my cam sensor I'd go with a Dynatek 2000i.

I have used the Ultima it think it is 53-644 and was great. just make sure, what ever you pick it is compatible with your coil.

Did this two seasons ago. It is the same as the dynatek 2000i for less coin. No issues. Don't used the ultima coil. The stock coil is fine. YD

It is all good... I like spending money on motorcycles... LOL! and I encourage you all to spend money too!

If I was going to just replace the nose cone sensor assembly, does any one have a good part number? I guess late model ones came with a bank sensor built in but you cannot buy those? Just put in the -94 one?
