Default 1984 Softail - Frame up build

I got my frame and swing arm back from the powder coater this week, so the build begins.

A couple of photos of the progress so far:

Oooooooh! Ahhhhhh! Looks impressive. Know it's a pain in the azz to keep taking and posting pics but please do. Am interested to see the progression.

Looking GOOD. Glad I don't have to lift it off the bench.

"I got my frame and swing arm back from the powder coater this week, so the build begins".

sgr60..Very nice. I have a question for you...What did you use, or more directly, how did you seal the inner primary bolts to the engine\trans? It seems that oil could seep behind the bend tab washers and drip out the back. I couldn't find anything in the HD factory manual suggesting RTV or a like sealant.
Thanks in advance.

I had a similar concern, but couldn't find anything that suggested anything other than just putting the bolts back in - no special sealant... I'm hoping for the best!

I put grey RTV behind the tabs and bolt heads on all mine. Otherwise they do indeed leak eventually, especially after mid 84 when they made the switch to the filled/isolated primary.
