Just Bought a 97 Electra Glide and the seat has seen better days, Are there any other model Harley seats that will fit my bike, Fancy some thing with a lower profile, Road king seats maybe ?

 

The good news is that '97-'05 seats from any FLs are interchangeable, the only difference being the length of the nose on RKs is a little shorter. There is a piece available to fill that.
Most aftermarket seats also feature a lower profile.

I have bought 2 seats for my 97 EG off of the classified section of this forum. 97-05 will require a bit searching than it used too.

According to where your at there have been LOTS of seats that can fit your bike. Ck local Craigslist any indys in your area.

Seats all the way up to 07 will fit your bike. I have the HD Hammock seat on mine and really like it for the long trips I do. It will set you a little higher on the bike though. I tried the Sundowner before that and it was almost as comfortable as the Hammock without raising you up any but when I put it on I got a whining noise coming from the passenger seat...LOL....The Passenger part of the sundowner is a few inches narrower that the OEM or Hammock. Hammock seat cured the Whine!

 

I have tried the Sundowner, and one off of an Electraglide. Those put me too far forward.

Currently have a Tall Boy. It does a nice job. 33" inseam.
