I have a mustang regal on the 98 ultra. I like it compared to the wore out stocker. The wife hates it because it isn't broken in yet. To stiff for her, may have to get a gel installed. The only thing I don't like about it is it sits me up about 2" higher, not a big deal though. It just changed the way the windshield deflects.

Thanks. I'm very happy with mine.

Seat comfort is, I suppose, a highly personalized thing. But in something like 12k miles on this Corbin, it's far and away the most comfortable seat I've ever had. Absolutely no burn, ever.

As to the tan leather, it certainly gets attention. I've never had so many friendly, admiring comments.

Here's Rachel on our trip to South Dakota last year, striking a "Crazy Horse" pose:

One option that hasn't been mentioned is to have your stock seat (which you know fits the bike) re-done by an auto upholstery shop. Since it would be custom work, you can specify pretty much whatever you like. I just had my 28-year-old seat and backrests re-done with new foam and custom-stitched leather for less than the price of the new Corbin replacements.

I'm leaning toward a Regal Duke. Any one have an OEM seat off a 98 Fatboy?

I seriously considered having my stock 1990 seat recovered, however the base is really flimsy IMHO and already had a few small cracks in it. By contrast the Corbin base is build like a tank and should last forever!

Corbin only for me.

I've passed on motorcycles because Corbin DIDN'T make a seat for that particular model.

I had my OEM seat recovered in really nice leather and it made it feel so much better.

Before that I ordered a Mustang wide touring seat but immediately returned it because it was hard as a rock.
