I put a C&C Custom seat on my 1988 FLHTC. It takes a couple Mods but can be done. I had to remove the passenger hand rails and the bracket that holds the tour pack. Also had to drill a hole in the rear fender and in stall a Jack Nut (think that's what it's called). The OME seat was ok but felt like I was sitting up on top of my bike. The C&C sets me back 1 and down 1 1/2. Made a big difference. Very comfortable seat!!

I really like the look if the Fatboy seat on my Heritage, but it wasn't comfortable for a long ride. It got burned in the engine fire.
Replaced it with the Mustang Wide Touring which is a really comfortable seat and great for long rides. It just doesn't look as good as the Fatboy seat.

I've got a Corbin on my bike. Not sure how many of the 40000 miles the previous owner put on it. Maybe he was slight of build. Either way, my *** was furious with me after I put 350 miles on it last summer. Maybe my hiney needs to toughen up, or maybe the seat is as hard as a rock. Got nothing to compare it to.
