Default 1987 FLHS before and after.

Still have some work and buffing to do. I was lucky enough to find a shovelhead fairing on eBay. I used police hardbags that I took the ***** off and obviously relocated the battery. Had to build spacers so the bags would clear the widened fender. I like the wide look. May even get some Fat *** bags for it and make it 4" wider. I used some black curved exhaust shrouds to make spacers between the bags and fender. I got rid of the 'Live to ride' stuff. The seat is off a RK but too big for my taste, going to replace it with something smaller soon. I ordered a mustang solo seat but had to send it back because I could not get it to line up with the two holes on the fender. I have some Black deep cut floorboards coming to match the Arlen Ness Gas tank dash. Tank Emblems I found from I believe a shovelhead, still had the backing on them. The tank came off a 2002 ElectraGlide. When winter hits I will do a complete tear down including motor and make it look like new again. Just wanted to get some miles on it first and see if I liked the look. Smoothed out the rear end and put on LED turn, tail, brake lights. Vance and Hines Pipes off a newer model. Still have to paint the front fender and side panels, but debating on a larger wheel first. White walls GOTTA GO. So, she is a Frankenstein bike for sure, but I have had a blast cheating on my wife with my bike. I named her Lily, after the bride of Frankenstein. Thanks to all of you for your tips do tricks. (I live on a dirt road so ignore the dust on her)

LED brake,tail with amber turn.

Looks good. I know you're not a fan but I think the white walls look good on it.

Sweet bike! Your plan to go to wider bags is awesome, the wide fat look looks great on an flh in my opinion.

I don't know, look's pretty good to me. After all your bringing a thirty year old bike back to a newer look. I too like the white wall look gives it that I am still here to it. If you got to cheat Lilly is the one to do it with. She won't tell.

I got the LEDs on eBay. Going with some Custom Dynamics Plasma Tubes though. The LEDs have been problematic and already had to replace them. Chinese junk.

Nice! Good lookin' ride. The white walls look good, but from personal experience, they are a pita to keep clean.
