Ditto to that as well NYS inspections are ridiculous at the best of times anyway, you can "legally drive" a vehicle that is nothing but rust and literally falling apart going down the road BUT if you have a bad O2 sensor your a "hazard on the road"!

Your first mistake was taking it to a "metric" shop. The inspector may have been a Harley Hater.
