This thing looks amazing.

Seller is asking $9700. Damn.

Ever since Arnold saved the world on his, I've thought that's about the best looking bike the MoCo ever made. I'd be a player on this one if the price was right.

Ah, spring fever. Everyone thinks THIER bike for sale is worth a fortune. But, but, look I put all this shiny stuff on it, that makes it worth more. You have to admit though, that thing is pretty sharp looking. Probably get it for 6k this fall, as he will sit at that price.

I do like those red valve covers though, never seen ones like that. They would look nice on my softy!

That's about where'd I'd be on it. I think you are exactly right.

Either he is just plain dreaming (even the normally generous KBB lists it at $6500 retail) or he is fooling his wife into thinking he is really trying to sell it.

Or maybe he gets lucky and there is some guy who's just gotta have it and doesn't mind the price.

That guy is not me!

Maybe close to that with the yellow detail stripes on valve/derby covers, etc. Then it really looks like a Fatboy.

I just happen to have a set of those I thought of putting on the 94 Ultra. Never did and still in the box. I'll have to check on their exact color to be sure of it. My dresser is two tone red, so it is one of those.. LOL..

I'd say $6K is a fair price but good luck even getting that. I paid $5K for my 99 2 years ago with 17K on it. It had spoke wheels an V&V short shots on it when I got it but stock other wise...that is a nice clean bike though.

It is nice but not $9700 nice. And those rocker cover spacers are usually the same color the rest of the bike is. You got them new when you special ordered them with the bike. Like mine....

Except for the yellow and orange ones that came out on the original silver 1990 Fatboy...

Hotrod, that fatty is sharp.
So alright fellas, how were these rocker spacers made/coated? Is it paint, ceramic,or anodized? And where can I find a set in lazer red?
Who has a set they want to part With? I could certainly buy this guys 9700$ fatty and just rip em off for Jenevive, but I really don't think they are worth 3700$:-).
Of course Jenny is a chrome *****, but damn those would look good on her!

As far as I know they are painted and baked..... When I had mine apart you could see the over spray on the insides.... You could do yours if you can color match the paint... You will have to strip the chrome.....
