Just because it is important, to repeat something that was mentioned above, Get the Factory Service Manual! After that we can help you make it a smooth job.

I have the service manual coming by Saturday, definitely good advice about the service manual. It's the Harley production. I would not start the job without one.

I would cut them rods and use SE quick adjust rods in a skinny minute.

I just replace my lifter and pushrods. I switched out the adjustable pushrods for the stock one piece. Taking the rockers apart is no big deal at all.

Without sounding repetitive , I asked:
In what order should the following work be done: cam, cam bearings, quickie pushrods, lifter block gaskets, and lifters.
Yes, I am getting a service manual!!
I understand that I have to cut the original pushrods..so, do that first, and then what?
Also it looks like I will need adjustable pushrod tubes, correct?

Thanks boys!

That's an "all at once" job, not a "what order" job.

Wait until you get the manual and read it, then you can ask some informed questions.

And........ easy on the boys stuff.

1) Cut pushrods
2) Take out pushrod covers
3) Remove lifter blocks and lifters
4) Remove ignition pick up (mark it's position for reference when installing later)
5) Remove cup on end of cam
6) Remove cam chest (cam will probably come out with it)
7) Remove cam bearing

Install in reverse order

Your FSM will give you a better more detailed list.

Stock pushrod covers will work fine with adjustable pushrods
