Voltage Issues

i'm 37 miles, I have everything turned off that I can turn off...my switch to light up the brakes is out on my rear break (so it doesn't activate the tail lights when I use rear brake only) and my drive is mostly open 4 lane....I got my fingers crossed I can make it LOL If not, my wife has my truck keys and knows how to hook up a trailer. It will just delay my beer drinking to have to sit on the side of the road and wait for her.

Man, so it seems like my Ultra is just giving me so much **** lately.
Recently fixed the ignition coil, and now riding to work this morning my voltage gauge dropped down 10v....So I shut down everything electrical that I could, and no improvement. It just kept falling mile after mile until it was finally bottomed out at 8v. I had to stop for fuel, and when I started again there was a noticeable lag, like the battery is dying. I got to work, and I had my battery tender with me, so it's plugged in and charging now. So I know I need to get a voltmeter and do some testing but i can't right now. Hoping 8-9 hours on the tender will at least get me 37 miles back home so I can figure out if it's the battery or the stator. Hoping it's the battery just no longer accepting a charge, but i'm sure I won't be that lucky.
god I hope it isnt the stator. That seems like a bitch to replace.

I am going to check my grounds tonight, if I make it home without a trailer. If I end up waiting on the side of the road, i'll just go home and drink beer LOL

Well she got me within 4 miles of the house before she died. My wife came out on our Polaris with a rope and towed me the rest of the way.
Charged battery over night and it's showing 12.5v off the charger. So I can scratch that part of the list.
Moving on to testing stator and voltage regulator when I get get finished with some work I have to do today.
