No Tach drives me crazy

Isn't a rev limiter one of the features of the ignition module from the factory, and a Screaming Eagle module gave you a higher rev limit?

Stock ignition module has a revlimiter of 5.200 and I think the Screaming Eagle is at 5,500.

I have a tach, never watch it but have a built in feature called shift stupid, also makes a stuttering sound when I ignore the shift stupid feature.

I believe most people call that a revlimiter!!!

Been thinking about buying one like Texas's for like a year now,because no rev limiter and only a four banger,still thinking about it,maybe this winter.

Stock ignition is set to cut out at 5200 or 5400 if I remember right. Some aftermarket tuners you can manually adjust that.

Other engine had a setting called "your a dumba$$" and used it, is that called a rev limiter too?

If it got you to shift before you grenaded the motor then I would say it was!!!
