I really lost myself this weekend

Just a quick update since I fell off the first page. Lately I've mostly been waiting for the motor to get done. I haven't bugged the guy but next week I'll ask how things are going. I'd like to make Christmas/holiday plans and whether or not I should book travel, or time to get the motor back together.
I also squared away the wiring completely. I'll take pics of the before/after wiring diagrams, suffice it to say about 2/3's of all the wiring was removed and I still have a completely functional wiring system. I bought a really tight integrated brake/turn signal light at the Long Beach Motorcycle Show so that ugly-*** turn signal bar is gone. In time I'll weld up the open holes in the fender.
I also need a turn signal module, my left don't work no matter how many times I bounce the original one off the concrete floor. I've seen some better designs on eBay that don't need a speedo signal to work, they just maintain the flash for a certain amount of seconds based on how long you hold down the button. I like this design a lot better, and my new speedo won't have a speedo output anyway.

LOL, Yamaha's... Been there (RD350). Zippy little bike though.
Actually buying another Evo will allow me to turn that one into a turbo motor. The Evo already has a perfect forced-induction CR. All I'd do is go with some forged slugs with some H-beam Carillo rods, and probably a beefy case. Maybe a higher lift cam but maintain a shorter overlap. Something capable of holding 15 psi on boost would probably be in the mid 100's for horsepower.
There's never a shortage of bike-building imagination in my head.
