Heads $600, pistons $200, bore $180, gaskets $75, cam $250, lifters $150, steel breather $100, exhaust $500, ignition $200, bigger starter $300, updated clutch $200, primary gasket $45, air filter system $100, jet kit $50. Prices are give and take.

You will have a good running Evo but normal operation wanting to twist some rpms because it will keep pulling, it will eventually quit pulling from rpms with the stock crank, 80" is a great motor but has it's limits

Beautiful 67, I should have my 71 Malibu rolling around shortly. I know my 71 at least the vin denotes whether you have a 6 or 8 cylinder. Real easy to clone into a ss.

If you can do the heads do them. If you make an evo breathe your on your way to more power. For the front end definatly get a set of new springs. I prefer the progressive era as they are cheap and give you a pretty noticeable improvement. How long was the bike sitting? That fork oil may be as old as the bike depending on the previous owner.

Reliable @ 90/90 sounds like heaven.
