Mount the coils to the backside of the bracket. If that won't work make a quick u bracket hat attaches it to the old coil mount

Absolute worse case scenario you can get a top motor mount that mounts the coil too

looks good !!!

well since the coil won't fit anymore ...put the stock motor back in ...and we'll come get that big jug head of a motor off your hands !!!

just a little piece of flat plate will extend the coil out pass the head ...

Yeah that's probably what I'm gonna do.
The problem with that is that the coil cover won't fit anymore.

Gotta change coils too as the ignition that came with the motor is a single fire system.

For a split second I was thinking of taking a grinding wheel to the heads and making it fit!!!!!

Yeah I had the same problem when I went to my 96 inch S&S cylinders and piston. I remounted it a little bit different way on the original bracket but I couldn't put the Chrome cover on any more. kind of looks better black to be honest with you.

It's a worth while issue.. IMO evos really don't have enough fins on the cylinders and heads. I have an older 113 ci SnS motored bike and it runs hot when you run it hard..

Cost me a bunch of time figuring out what was wrong and a stator.

Jasper had this happen and my Ultima engine had to have the spacer changed, a softail spacer should be common but a simple check at this point is golden

indeed I did. think thats specific to baggers though. mine was a -97 PN, motor shipped with a -70 PN on the sprocket spacer, and i lunched a stator in the process.

safer to make sure, that main seal's only ~ $15. if you dont wanna pull it apart, call S&S. they'll verify what sprocker spacer shipped with your motor, and you can cross reference that part number thats on your current setup.

My new 111 runs cool or I should say it never runs hot even in the summer GA heat. I don't sit in traffic either. Hot rodding or fast off the Hwy it does great and no oil cooler.

Just tried to call the S&S tech line to ask a couple questions but they are shut down for the rest of the year.

I've got several things to get but I want to make sure I get what I need to finnish this.
I'm wondering what other surprises are waiting for me...
