Just for an update to this thread...

I found out Monday that the Bassani pipes will hit if I lean it over far enough.
Damnit I was hoping that wouldn't happen!!!!!

Luckily it only happens when I'm over far enough to scrape the boards so I'm not too worried about it.

Looks like your Bassani pipes are straight back and ride low and with a low riding softail you get close to the pavement. The Bassani for my WG swept up a hair and the Wg has more grd clearance.

Similar to or close to what aces&8’s was sayin? If you really like that pipe, use wider tire.
One inch wider is an extra half inch clearence

I don't go near the freeway.
The only place I usually ride is the Hill Country!!!!

Yeah I thought about calling Bassani and getting a set for a Dyna but I think I'd have to change saddle bags to get that to work.
Not happening.

To keep Omaha happy here are a couple of mods to make the horn and front plug wire fit with the bigger motor.

I extended the horn mounting bracket 1/2" further out.

I drilled a hole in the horn support bracket so I could clip the front plug wire to it.
