Thank you. There is actually an EMS location near me i have dealt with through work.

Did you have them "soup" up your original starter, or did you buy a whole new unit?

I purchased a new starter, I think it was $103. Works quite well so far...

Thanks guys, I'll get shopping for a starter and cables.

Hit a bit of a snag upon assembly..... I was turning my rings to spread out the end gaps and noticed one ring wanted to stick in the groove.... I swapped rings around and it appears to be a bad ring and not a piston so monday i will have to make sone phone calls

A few questions on setting up my ultima (dynatek) ignition.

is setting the rev limiter at 6k safe for a stock bottom end?

Also which curve should i run? This is a heavier bike and i spend probably half of my time riding two up.

Ill be using the stock voes and running it on dual fire with a dynatek coil.

Yes 6k and curve 2. I'm not a fan of the voes... I don't use mine..

6k is fine.

Start at curve 2 and if you get pinging go to curve 3 if still pinging go to 4.
I always ran mine at curve 2 with no problems.

I don't like full advance on a light tip in. My motor is really built and donation could kill it..
