You may get more answers with year and model number.

If you have a seal you want to replace, simply remove it, clean it up and take it to a local bearing stockist. It will have ID numbers they/you can read and identify a suitable replacement.

As Mr. Brown has pointed out ... a cross reference chart is your friend.

Indeed - along with a decent local store. I visited mine with the front wheel bearings and seals for my Shovel, way back. Storeman took one look at the bearing and guessed it was an outer front wheel bearing for a Ford model of some sort (don't recall). He smiled when I told him it was for a Harley, but promised me the Ford equivalent would be fine! I don't recall what I came away with or their part numbers, was too long ago, but the store is still there, where I left it....

We get that! Either you or one of us has to check the part number on a seal. Unfortunately nobody who has replied so far has written it down, but you have the info available to you on your bike. Seals and bearings have their life history written on them, albeit in tiny print!

Hmmm. Looking at some wheel bearing seals for my '94 Evo reveals only the letters "CA" and a 2 digit number, which is different on each seal, so I surmise it's a mold cavity number. You will probably have to take a seal into the auto or bearing supply store and try to match it, as has been suggested.

Last time I bought the seals at a Harley dealer, they were $4.00 each. I don't know if you'd be saving any money buying them elsewhere.

Seal is 47519-83A for a 1991. I think it is the same for your model year.

Since everybody uses amazon these days
