Default Lower fork covers ??

Forks on my 98 Electra glide are looking shitty and I plan on replacing next year but for now I was thinking some covers might look good. What’s the difference between the 2000- up forks Over the 98’s? looks like they only make covers for 2000 and up, was wondering if they’d work.

OMG Please don't put that cheap plastic **** on your bike. Take some time, strip the protective coating, then sand and polish.

Are they really that bad?

And if you want an alternative way, clean 'em up and paint 'em. Simples!

Have you thought about powder coating them?

Looks good, a LOT better than a crappy plastic shroud! Probably cover the tire with a shop towel tho, so you dont have to get grunge off of it on the other side! ;-)
